Thorough Information About The Value Of Time In Each Of Our Life
The late great George Carlin at one time said, "There is no time". When you say the word "now", you implied "then" right? Since each moment is passing. That is the value of time. This idea that time or the concept of time is passing us by means we are slowly but surely moving towards our end. Does it scare you? Or should it drive you to do far better at what you do.
I pointed out the idea of the value of time due to the fact that I know that a lot of network marketers are not making any progresses whatsoever because they cannot find the time to devote to this business. I have already heard it many times before. Some people say that they are very busy with their current day job or that they are involved in attending to the kids.
I used to say that I was busy. But nevertheless I learned later that I wasn't really too busy to pay attention to this business. I was in fact not making full use of the value of time properly. I used to watch a great deal of TV. I used to spend loads of time reading the newspaper. I used to spend well over an hour going through emails and forwarding some of them.
Fortunately I listened to my coach. He told me to check out my schedule and be really honest with myself if I am genuinely spending my time the proper way. So I said to myself, I wanna retire early just so I can spend more time with my family. I wanna have huge savings with the intention that I can afford to take my family on vacations. I want to provide a good life for my family and I want my children to pick just about any school they want and I would have no trouble sending them to school there.
As you realize your goal for doing this business, you would successfully see that it far exceeds the luxury of being able to sleep 8 hours everyday or spending several hours watching the television. Moreover, how would watching plenty of TV help us become prosperous or better persons?
Are you currently really that busy? Or are you subconsciously giving a lot more value to your quality time than your bigger goals in life?
Adjusting your habits can be very hard. I had a hard time changing mine too. But day after day, I explained to myself why I was doing this. And day after day, that thought become more and more deep-rooted into my brain.
